The Get-Go party at the Tottenham club will raise money for music charities

This Friday (14 June), Grooveschool and Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation's Get Equipped campaign are hosting a charity fundraising party called The Get-Go at The Cause in Tottenham, London. fabric resident Terry Francis [pictured], the ever-superb Silverlining and a host of other DJ talent including Cici, Dominic Aquila and Jack Swift will be playing across two rooms from 10 pm till 5 am.

The Get-Go aims to raise funds and awareness for both Get Equipped and Grooveschool to expand their programmes. Both organisations work nationally and internationally, using music, DJing and production as a means to exert a positive influence in young people’s lives.

Get Equipped is a Last Night A DJ Saved My Life initiative that brings together DJs, producers and music production equipment manufacturers to supply DJ and production equipment to projects working with young people. Grooveschool is a non-profit organisation that runs music education projects for young people, including DJing and production workshops, one-to-one tuition and music/production clubs for kids.

Entry to the event is by ticket only, and tickets are available now, currently priced at £8 (but be quick, because they'll be rising to £10 later in the week).
