The LA-based DJ/producer is currently on tour in the US but returns to UK shores in April
Hailing originally from New York but now based in Los Angeles, Lauren Lane is a rising
star of the worldwide house scene. She made her production debut with Cool Kids on
Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records in 2014, and recently signed to Edible
Records, the label run by Eats Everything and NRK's Nick Harris. The
first fruit of the new deal is The Diary Of A Madwoman EP, which is
out now, and today we bring you a look at the accompanying video.
The
track itself is a chunky, instrumental house chugger, while the film
- directed by Andrew Coury, produced by Michelangelo Pinto and edited by Shaun Benjamin - was shot at various
locations around New York and shows a typical day in Lauren's life.
Or rather a not-so-typical one, in that we're assuming Ms Lane
doesn't actually live in a psychedelic dreamworld...
