Album features contributions from Miss Kittin and David Shaw
French techno/electro wizard Vitalic has announced details of his fourth studio album, Voyager. The album will be out on 20 January on Clivage Music/Caroline International.
Emerging from the French techno scene in the early 00s, Vitalic helped to shape the electroclash/indie-dance sound that defined that era, but he describes Voyager as his "most disco ever". The hype sheet waxes more lyrical on that theme, declaring "this is a cosmic space odyssey, packed with energy-filled, retro-futuristic hits perfect for dancing in zero gravity, followed by melancholic cooldown periods spent contemplating the lost galaxies of the vast cosmos."
The first single from the album will be Waiting For The Stars, which features a very 80s-ish vocal from David Shaw, formerly of Black Strobe - and which you can hear below.
