There's just the one mix for now, with a remix package to follow

Highly acclaimed house duo Tough Love release another anthem-in-waiting, this time featuring Grammy-nominated vocalist A*M*E.

Closer To Love starts with A*M*E’s dulcet tones, quickly joined by bass guitar and drums, and - as is so rare these days - it's an actual full song, complete with verses and a chorus. Tough Love's deftly crafted 90s-esque backing is made up of pianos, string fills and bass sounds, but the real star of the show is that voice, which sits very much in forefront of the mix, making this track very accessible and giving it bags of crossover potential. There are some male backing vocals, but it's really all about the main vocal part.

A remix package with five other versions will follow in a few weeks' time, but let's not get ahead of ourselves! In the meantime, if you're a fan of well-produced, well-sung vocal house this tune is one that's well worth listening out for. Tough Love's work is regularly supported by the dance music tastemakers at Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss and Capital, so you will be in good company!
