Argentina's Mariano Iluta shows why he's one of South America's hottest house music exports

Argentinian producer Toomy Disco comes to Chilean label Nopreset Limited with a very fine and iimpressively varied house three-tracker.

Dimention itself opens proceedings, a sleazy, bassy groove that owes a debt of inspiration both to classic New Jersey garage and to the deep, bumpin' west coast house à la Salted, Transport et al that it helped inspire… six minutes and 23 seconds of eyes-down, hip-swayin' dancefloor bliss! My Bit then revisits a certain Blaze classic and reinvents it as a slab of dreamy Balearic disco, before My Kinda Dub closes out the EP on a driftaway, late night note.

The title track takes top honours for me, with My Kinda Dub not far behind. But all three tracks are plenty playable, and the EP taken as a whole is a testament to Iluta's talent and versatility.
