The German festival are teaming up once more with local partners Teksupport
Long-running German techno festival Time Warp returns to New York for the first time in two years on 19 and 20 November – and today the full line-up was announced.
Born in Mannheim, Germany in 1994, Time Warp is one of Europe's longest-running techno festivals. They started hosting events outside of Germany in 2005, and have been visiting New York and Buenos Aires since 2014. Time Warp's US events are staged in collaboration with local promoters Teksupport, with the last being their 25th anniversary celebration in 2019 – 2020's festival, obviously, having been cancelled due to the pandemic.
But now they're back, with a new Brooklyn location and a host of A-list house and techno (but mostly techno) names to tempt you.
How big, you say? Try Adriatique, Âme, Avision, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman, KiNK (live), Kobosil, Nina Kraviz [pictured], Pan Pot, Paula Temple, Renier Zonneveld (live), Ricardo Villalobos B2B Craig Richards, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler and Stephan Bodzin on for size! With support from Desna, Mink B2B O.Bee and Shahar, that should be enough to keep any technohead happy.
The over-21s event kicks off at 10pm each night and tickets are available now, currently priced $180+BF for a two-day pass. Note that all those attending will need to prove they've had at least one coronavirus jab.
For more information and tickets, see Time Warp's own website.
