MADE 2020 takes place at Sandwell Valley Country Park on 1 August
This year sees Birmingham house and bass festival MADE moving to a new home at Sandwell Valley Country Park, and they've announced a fitting headliner for what will be their biggest event to date: local hero The Streets (Mike Skinner), who'll be playing his biggest ever hometown show.
The move to Sandwell Valley has come about because the festival's former home of Perry Park has been commandeered for the Commonwealth Games, but it's also enabled the organisers to ramp up capacity to 20,000. The 660-acre park is just eight minutes by train from Birmingham New Street, with regular bus and tram services also available.
Of course, you don't get 20,000 people through your doors without a pretty impressive line-up to tempt them… so it's a good job that MADE have already confirmed Gorgon City, Hybrid Minds, Wilkinson, Stefflon Don, Shy FX, Sonny Fodera, Holy Goof, Horse Meat Disco, Flava D, SASASAS, Jay1 and Artwork then, isn't it? And that's just the Phase 1 line-up…
If you want to got then registration for presale tickets is open now via the festival website.
