The album's out on 3 November, with a launch party at Grow in Hackney
Tender Hooks, the house and techno label born out of the London club night of the same name, announced today that they're taking the plunge and releasing their first artist album.
Label stalwart T. Wiltshire is the man they've chosen to do the honours. A debut full-length for both him and the label, Selfless Machines is out on 3 November and embraces a variety of electronic styles, from the Detroitian techno of #4, via the acid assault of #6, to the laidback, future lounge-y vibes of #3 (and yes, the tracks are all numbered - but not, somewhat weirdly, consecutively).
To mark the occasion, Tender Hooks are also throwing a launch party at Grow in Hackney on 3 November, with free entry, and music provided by Rick Grant, Ketoloco, Pardon My French, Family We Choose and, of course, T. Wiltshire himself.
