Track is taken from the 'Damn Dollar' EP, which is out on Monday

Today's exclusive track premiere comes courtesy of Housekeeping Records, as iDJ brings you the first chance to hear Soul Got Me from label bosses Housekeeping themselves. The track is taken from the Damn Dollar EP, which is out on Monday (29 April) on their own Housekeeping Records label.

The collective known to their mums as Taylor McWilliams, Jacobi, Carl Waxberg and Sebastian MDH set up Housekeeping as a London club night in 2012. Since then they've gone from strength to strength, taking the Housekeeping brand across the country and to Ibiza while releases on their eponymous label have picked up support from some of the biggest names in the business, including the likes of Seth Troxler, Steve Lawler, Dennis Ferrer, Nic Fanciulli and Damian Lazarus.

The A-side and title track of the Damn Dollar EP is a hypnotic, percussion-led track topped with a Billie Holiday sample. The track we're showcasing today, Soul Got Me, follows a similar "tuff drums plus female vocal" MO, and sounds to our ears like one of those tracks that's perfect for maintaining energy on peaktime floors, in-between the more obvious anthems du jour. But don't take our word for it – see what you think!
