Track comes from the 'Silence' EP, which is out next Friday

The EP is the 13th release from D-Jaw's own BYBL label

Our second great track exclusive this week comes from UK label BYBL, as iDJ presents Shoreditch Hipster from label boss Dan Bartholomew, AKA D-Jaw. The track is part of the Silence EP, which is out next Friday (2 November).

Four tracks make up the Silence EP. First up is Sitting With Uncertainty, a near-ambient piece which opens with crowd noise and random piano notes, its laidback reggae beat emerging only after nearly two minutes. The Power, featuring a female vocal from Louise Golbey, fuses deep house and UK garage influences, while To The Night - a collaboration with D-Jaw's brother Dean Charles - is a more commercial house cut. The track that grabbed our ears the most, though, was Shoreditch Hipster, which as you can hear below is a chunky house groover centred around an insistent, throbbing bassline and a tongue-in-cheek spoken male vocal.
