The EP's out on Chuggy Traxx this Friday, complete with further remixes from The Golden Boy and Jarred Gallo

The first of three exclusive track premieres we've got lined up this week comes from Danish label Chuggy Traxx, as iDJ brings you a first chance to hear the Johan S Remix of Party People by label boss Beatchuggers and Kathy Brown. The full EP is available on Beatport from Friday (12 June), with a full release to follow on 26 June.

Michael Linde has been working under the name Beatchuggers since the late 90s, but is perhaps best known for 2000's Forever Man, which started out as an unofficial remix of an Eric Clapton track but was given a full release after getting the thumbs-up from the man himself. 2007 saw another high-profile collaboration with Kid Massive (Shake It ), while he's been running the Chuggy Traxx label since 2008.

Now, his first release of 2020 finds him teaming up with legendary house vocalist Kathy Brown. Their original version of Party People is a traditionally styled uplifting vocal houser, while the Golden Boy Remix treads a deeper, sultrier path and Jarred Gallo takes the track into chunky nu-disco territory. But the mix we've got for you today is this stripped-back, percussive rub from Johan S, which adds a nagging organ line all of its own.
