'Night Candy' is out on Subdivision Music on Friday, via Beatport and Spotify

Today's exclusive track premiere comes from New York house label Subdivsion Music, as iDJ brings you a first chance to hear the Alex Kenji Remix of Night Candy by Roger Silver feat Gaby Nesmith. Night Candy is out on Silver's own Subdivision Music this Friday (11 June) via Beatport and Spotify, with a full release to follow on 25 June.

Roger Silver is a New York-based DJ and producer who cites his influences as “underground deep house and melodic techno”. Since 2019 he's been resident at NYC club Göspel, and he also does a monthly mix show called Sound Of The NY Underground that's syndicated to over 500K listeners via 18 stations across Europe and the Americas. On the production front, he made his debut on Click Records with Doxa in 2015; since then his music has also appeared on Plastic City and Tronic Soundz, though the majority of his output has come on his own Subdivision Music, which he launched in 2016.

His latest excursion finds him teaming up with vocalist Gaby Nesmith on Night Candy. The original track is a slice of dreamy Ibiza-style prog, while a stripped-back rerub from Kususa takes it down a slightly deeper path. The standout mix to our ears, though, is this struttier, lightly tech-tinged pass from Hotfingers Records boss Alex Kenji.
