The single's out on Kinesen Records this Friday, with more mixes by Tommy J Gren and Specialivery

Our first track premiere this week comes to you courtesy of Swiss label Kinesen Records. Parsifal's Mercury is out on Friday (17 November), and today iDJ is delighted to bring you the first chance to hear the rather fine Mess Me Remix.

Parsifal is of Swiss-Italian parentage, but is now based in Paris, France. Over the years, his releases on labels such as Caballero and Pacha Recordings have spanned a variety of house styles - deep, tech, bass, etc - but his latest offering for Kinesen sees him firmly in deep tech territory. In its Original form, Mercury is a dreamy yet still quite pacey affair laced with mission control dialogue - perfect for those eyes-wide-shut voyages into inner space, whether that's on a 4am dancefloor or curled up on the sofa a few hours later.

As for the remixes, Tommy J Gren opts for busier percussion and more dramatic, ominous synths, while Specialivery's remix starts out beatless and atmospheric, then suddenly breaks out at around the one-minute mark with pounding techno kicks, while maintaining the space-y, otherworldly vibe of the Original. But our favourite for dancefloor play would be the refix from fellow Swiss producer Luca Mess, better known as Mess Me [pictured], who adds a looping female vocal and opts for a heads-down, almost tribal feel,
