Check out the lead track from her new EP, which drops today

After yesterday's double-whammy we've got another great track exclusive for you today, as iDJ brings you a first chance to hear Looking At Me by DJ Lora. It's taken from the three-track Looking At Me EP, which is out today.

"Tech house and deep house with the sound of a rounded garage bassline," is how DJ Lora describes the music she makes. Born Laura Elliott in Durban, South Africa, she first took to the decks 20 years ago, and cut her teeth DJing at gay clubs in London. In more recent years, she's packed in the day job to concentrate full-time on DJing and making music, and has already collaborated with the likes of D Ramirez, Vanilla Ace and Vula from Basement Jaxx.

The Looking At Me EP features three tracks. More Than A Lot is a disco-tinged deep houser with fluttering geetars and a very classy-sounding female vocal, while the techier, more heads-down Better Believe has tuff, tribal beats and a lively blues/gospel vocal loop. Both are very playable, but the track we're presenting today is the title cut Looking At Me itself, a chunky, strutty houser with a treated G-house vocal and dancefloor energy to spare.
