'I Feel This' is out on 3 May from Beatport, and on 17 May from everywhere else

For today's excellent track premiere we once more have our good friends at Colour & Pitch to thank, as iDJ brings you the first chance to hear the Finest Wear Remix of I Feel This by Jon Delerious. The EP's out on Beatport promo from 3 May, with a full release on 17 May.

Jon Delerious [pictured] hails from Calgary in Canada, but has been a fixture on the west coast house scene since the early 90s. His own productions have appeared on such respected labels as Large Music, UM Records, Lost My Dog and Nordic Trax, and now he comes to Brighton's finest. In its original form, I Feel This is a bumpin' deep house groove centred around pulsating synth chords, underpinned by a matching bassine and topped with a spoken "I feel this" male vocal. The EP's other original is Alright, another hypnotic cut aimed at warm-ups and very late floors.

The mix we're showcasing today, though, comes from UK deep house favourite Finest Wear AKA Cenzo Scoglio [pictured below], who's also previously made appearances on Large as well as on the likes of Nite Grooves, Ready Mix Records and Plastic City (and, indeed, as a previous premiere right here on iDJ). In his hands, I Feel This becomes a more euphoric, blissed-out affair as he adds sweeping atmospherics while subtly ramping up the bass. See what you think…
