Track comes from the 'Ten' EP, which lands in stores tomorrow

Today's exclusive track premiere comes once more from our good friends at Pangea Recordings over in the US, as iDJ brings you a first chance to hear Candor by GuyRo. The track is taken from his new EP Ten, which is out tomorrow.

Based in sunny California, DJ Samer's Pangea Recordings should need no introduction to most iDJ readers by now – they've been flying the prog flag Stateside since the early 00s, and we've run numerous exclusives from the label previously. GuyRo, meanwhile, is an Irish-born producer who's based in Spain, and who describes his sound as "an infectious fusion of synth-laden techno and progressive house".

Elsewhere on the Ten EP, Ten itself is indeed a synth-tastic epic that comes accompanied by a deeper Nick Muir Remix, while subOscillate is a dark small-hours bubbler that erupts into an all-out synth assault. But the track that grabbed us most was Candor. Easily the EP's most contemplative cut, its layered pads and ethereal vocal find us firmly in blissed-out summer territory.

Ibiza and festivals may be off the cards this year, but you can grab yourself a little slice of sunshine right here…
