Belarusian producer Omniks and his Egyptian counterpart Fawzy join forces on this slab of nostalgic euphoria
For their first outing on Black Sunset Music, Omniks & Fawzy bring you Colourful World, a peak-time classical-trance fusion cut ready to bring fans the world over into an emotional, colourful state of mind.
Colourful World comes fully loaded with anthemic and euphoric properties by the bucketload, so strap yourselves in – we're going on a wonderful ride! It starts with a kickdrum-led intro with vocal pad sounds and other percussive elements, then heads straight into a mini-breakdown where a snare roll and riser usher in the main body of the track, which has a galloping bassline, ethereal pads, fast claps and another riser that takes you to another break. This time it's a proper hands-in-the-air affair with lush synths and an arpeggiated riff that's part of the build-up to the drop, which is euphoria personified and sounds like the trance of old.
The fact that anthems like this are now such a rarity makes this track all the more special. So if you want to relive the glory days (or missed them!) this production will get you close to how good trance should sound.
