The new conference will take place at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh
Scotland its getting its very own electronic music conference with the launch next July of the, er, Scottish Electronic Music Conference, or SEMCON for short.
Taking place at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on 17 and 18 July, the conference will see the usual mixture of keynote speakers, workshops, A&R sessions, panel discussions and technology showcases. SEMCON will welcome 1,800 visitors each day, who will be entertained (in-between all of the above) by "live feeds from international artists".
Exhibitors already confirmed include the likes of Point Blank, Void, Defected, Beatport, LabelWorx and Skiddle, and tickets are available now, starting at just £35+BF for an early bird Academy Pass (which gets you into the Main Auditorium, Demo Market, Wunderground Networking Zone and Mix Tank Live), with Professional and AAA Platinum passes also available.
