Alexander Senge serves up three prime slices of the deep stuff

If you're a fan of the Lucidflow label generally, then rest assured this latest three-tracker from German producer Alexander Senge, better known as Narcotic 303, is going to be right up your dark alley!

Admittedly, there are no great surprises on offer: Lucidflow have carved out their own particular niche on the dub techno/minimal spectrum and the three tracks featured here slot neatly into it. But if long, lingering pads, cavernous bass drops, industrial FX, haunting disembodied vocal fragments and more reverb than you can shake a couple of six-foot metal plates at are your idea of a good time, how exactly is that going to be a problem? Discover gets the ball rolling with dubwise bass and Mission Control vocal snips and Resonance continues in a similar but more twitchy/minimal fashion, before X-1 plays us out on a slightly smoother, housier note.

The diametric opposite of peaktime, crowd-pleasing business techno, the three cuts on offer here will serve you equally well in warm-up sessions or for 5am excursions, whether to the heart of a locked-on dancefloor or deep into inner space from the comfort of your own sofa. Classy stuff as ever from Lucidflow.
