UK brothers Mike and Joe Mac are raising funds for Pilgrims Hospice

We're a little bit late on this one, but we offer no apology for that seeing as it's in a good cause!

Just In Time sees the UK's Mike Mac - whose work has previously appeared on Sleazy Deep - and his brother Joe joining forces with California-based female vocalist Tialeslie. The Greg's Tribute bit refers to the fact that Mike and Joe recently lost someone dear to them, and in his memory they and Fade To Funk are donating all proceeds from the single to charity - to be more specific, to The Pilgrim's Hospice, a Kent-based organisation that provides care for the terminally ill.

It's all very worthy, then, but is it any good? Yes it is, actually, assuming you were in the mood for some laidback, beach-y house vibes right about now. Tialeslie's half-sung, half-whispered vocal is of the calibre you'd expect from an award-winning vocalist and songwriter, while the Mac brothers underpin it with pleasingly beefy (if muted) kicks and sprinkle gently fluttering synths over the top, the overall effect being a bit like jumping into a time machine and heading back to the glory days of Om and Naked in the late 90s/early 00s.
