The first three tracks are available now, with a vinyl release to follow before Xmas
German house and techno producer Matthias Tanzmann is releasing his next album Round And Round one track at a time. The first couple of tracks are already available and the third came out today, with six more coming roughly every 10 days between now and 20 December – at which point a vinyl version featuring all nine cuts will also be released.
Round And Round comes, naturally enough, on Tanzmann's own Moon Harbour label, and follows 2016's Momentum. Where that was a (more or less) straight-up deep house album, though, Round And Round is said to be wider-ranging affair spanning house, tech-house and techno. The album features several high-profile collaborators including Steve Bug, Rebuke, Mathias Kaden and Mihalis Safras, and is described as "autobiographical", in the sense that Tanzmann is attempting to document all the various stylistic way stations along his musical journey to date.
The tracklist so far, with release dates, is as follows:
Induction with Daniel Stefanik (out now)
Atacama (out now)
Dizzy with Mathias Kaden (25 October)
Believe with Mihalis Safras (1 November)
Awakening with Black Circle (15 November)
Continue To Love with Steve Bug (22 November)
Three more tracks will be announced soon. For more information, see Moon Harbour's own website.
