UK producer Badder and Croatian duo join forces

Croatian duo PEZNT team up with UK producer Martin Badder to release the distinctlly old school-flavoured Believe, which comes to you with an Original Mix and a Radio Mix, ready to devastate dancefloors and airwaves throughout the land.

First up is the Original Mix, which kicks off with a deep, thudding kick and hi-hat pattern with added snare fills and ambient sounds. Then, after a few cymbal crashes, they add a piano riff and a one-note string line; then the female vocals kick in, and the track starts to sound very harmonious. It's light yet funky and a proper groover, which heads on to a breakdown with just the vocal and the piano playing – a real hands-in-the-air moment. Then the vocal stops, the piano plays a jangly riff, the string line returns with a long snare roll and it's back into the main body of the track, with the simple yet highly emotive soulful vocal and the piano carrying you forward towards the percussive outro. The Radio Mix, as expected, is just an edit and has all the same features but in a shorter format.

If you like your soulful/vocal house, this is well worth a listen
