Manchester techno producer Rudosa showcases his new tougher sound
Our Making Waves slot presents DJ mixes by rising stars. This week it's the turn of 31-year-old Mark Bradbury from Manchester, UK. Already known for the Beatport chart-topping techno he makes as Rudosa, he's recently had a shift of gears, setting up the Moments In Time label as a home for the darker, harder sound he's currently producing – and playing, as his take-no-prisoners Making Waves mix shows!
AKA: Mark Bradbury
Describe the music you make in 20 words or less: Hard-hitting euphoric techno that can help you lose track of time and the moment.
Five key influences: Amelie Lens, Richie Hawtin, Dax J, Berlin/Paris club culture, Manchester!
What one artist/producer would you most like to work with, and why? Jeff Mills. I would love to watch his creative process in the studio and just see him jamming on the machines back in the day. Same for Richie Hawtin.
If people check out just ONE of your tracks, what should it be? Obsolescence
What else do iDJ readers need to know? I have a label called Moments In Time and it has some huge releases planned for 2021, so STAY TUNED!!!!
