The rest of the line-up for the festival is still TBA
With Birmingham's MADE Festival cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Midlands-based ravers will welcome news that promoters Weird Science have confirmed that the festival will be returning to the city next year – and that Mike Skinner AKA The Streets, who was set to headline the 2020 festival, will be topping the bill.
The 2021 festival will take place in Sandwell Valley Country Park – a new, larger venue for MADE, with a capacity of 20,000 (assuming, of course, that social distancing regulations are no longer in place at that point). The rest of the line-up hasn't yet been announced, but we're told to expect (as ever) "a diverse mix of drum & bass, house, disco, hip-hop and bass music".
MADE broke the news by way of a 4.5-minute video on their Facebook page entitled 365 Days Later, which cheekily spoofs the beginning of horror classic 28 Days Later, and which you can watch here.
Tickets for the event are on pre-sale now, with the option to pay a £5 deposit now and then nothing else until 2021. For more information, hit up MADE's own website.
