The Russian/Hungarian duo team up with vocalist Shusha

The ever-reliable Nang serve up four fine slices of soul-inclined nu-disco from Russian/Hungarian duo Kontinents and mystery vocalist Shusha.

Dance All Night itself is up first, which has that typical hazy, shimmery Nang vibe (complete with those trademark 80s synth sounds), underpinned by a solid bassline and topped with a full soulful vocal from Shusha. Be With You is in a similar vein, but ups the pace somewhat and as a result could easily find its way into soulful house sets.  And then completing the package are a couple of remixes of the title track, with label regular Sare Havlicek scattering a little of his usual magic boogie dust over proceedings, and fellow Hungarian Yomakomba (AKA Attila Lukacs Jr) taking us into more blissed-out, end-of-night territory.

In some respects, this is fairly typical Nang fare – but the sheer quality of Shusha's vocal, and the fact there are two actual proper songs involved, nudge this latest release from the label just slightly ahead of the pack.
