Probably best not to make too many plans for the 9th, come to that...
Good news for techno lovers: London's own techno festival Junction 2 is expanding to two days for its 2019 event, which will take place on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 June.
There's no word yet as to the line-up – we're told to expect more details later this month. But bearing in mind that the two-part launch party at Tobacco Factory and fabric on 29 December already features Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Âme, Dixon and Rødhåd, it's fair to assume there's going to be no shortage of big names on offer at Boston Manor Park in June. We're told Friday will "showcase a more diverse spectrum of sounds" while the Saturday will be all about the techno.
Tickets for the festival itself aren't on sale yet, but you can pre-register at the Junction 2 website. Tickets for the launch party in December are on sale, with a pass for both Tobacco Dock and fabric setting you back £55. For full details, see here.
