A house cut with mainstream crossover appeal
Judge Jules delivers an emotional houser which features the sublime vocal talents of Cynthia Hall - who tragically passed away in November - on a rollercoaster ride of a tune.
More famed for his DJ sets and promoting prowess - and latterly a parallel career as an entertainment lawyer - it's often forgotten that Judge Jules has produced over 100 records in the course of a DJ career spanning over 30 years. This latest single has the main melody played on piano, with an orchestral string backing and an almost breakbeat drum pattern, all laced together with Cynthia Hall’s sultry vocals. There are two versions: the Original Mix and a Radio Edit, which should be self-explanatory. Both are very easy on the ears, with crossover potential in abundance
So, if you're a fan of the Judge Jules sound, this track is well worth a listen. It's house with an orchestral edge and should fill many a dancefloor over the coming months.
