The EP is the work of young producer Jordan Naumov, who hails from Macedonia

A fine deep house slab here from Jordan Naumov, a young producer from Macedonia, brought to you by Russian label Lisztomania. There are three mixes of That Feeling on offer, plus bonus cut Belong.

In its Original form, That Feeling is quite uptempo by contemporary deep house standards, starting out with a nagging, wobbly stab and hi-hats, then introducing driving 4/4s, an almost dub-style b-line, looped girly vox ("I'm feeling love") and some vaguely garage-y chords. Next up is the Dejan Dex Remix, which takes us into deeper, more late-night pastures while mangling the vocal and opting for a broken/stepper's rhythm rather than a straight four-to-the-floor. Some nice head-drifty synths in there as the track progresses, too. Tidy Daps' Lotsa Feeling then combines the best of both worlds, keeping things nice n' deep but returning to a 4/4 kick while chucking in a few discreet nods to both UK garage (the bassline) and Detroit techno (the string stabs). Finally, Belong is a more laidback, meandering affair sitting somewhere between deep house, nu-disco and jazz-house.

Can't make up my mind whether Dejan Dex or Tidy Daps take the gold here, so let's just say this is a winner all round.
