Label co-owner Helmut Erbritsch steps up with a pleasingly varied three-tracker
Lucidflow co-owner Helmut Erbritsch brings us a three-tracker on his own label that will appeal to lovers of various shades of deepness.
Up first is Doctor X, the EP's most experimental cut. Opening with plucked strings and atmospheric sounds drenched in reverb, this one starts out in leftfield, minimal territory, then develops into something more akin to Orb-style ambient house. Interconnectedness itself follows, a far livelier affair that finds us in more standard Lucidflow territory, being a smooth lil' roller that'd work well in deep house and deep/minimal techno sets alike. And then finally there's Vibrating Circle, which is the one to head for if the deepest shades of prog are your bag.
With tracks to suit a range of DJs, this is a must-check for anyone whose electronic listening habits tend towards the horizontal and herbally assisted…
