It's all going down at a secret outdoor venue in east London on 5 September
For 13 years now, London house and techno night FUSE has been an institution on the UK club scene. Born as a Sunday session at 93 Feet East and later Village Underground, the FUSE crew have gone on to stage takeovers of fabric and the Tobacco Dock's terrace, hold down residencies at Amnesia and Space in Ibiza, and host FUSE stages at some of the world's leading dance music festivals, including Sonar OFF Week and Kappa Futur. But they've never hosted an outdoor all-dayer in the UK capital.
Until, as they used to say on Tomorrow's World, now! Because yesterday, FUSE announced an all-day event that's taking place at an unspecified east London location on 5 September. The party runs from noon till 10pm, and in the headline slots will be FUSE co-founder Enzo Siragusa [pictured] and Apollonia, the latter playing a three-hour set. That's all she wrote for now, but we're assured there are plenty more names to be announced in the weeks to come.
“The open air is an integral part of our DNA,” say FUSE, “We’ve brought the FUSE vibe to outdoor parties all around the world. Now it’s time to bring it home to east London! The past year has provided us with much-needed time for introspection, to develop ideas, and ultimately prepare for the most exciting projects we have ever embarked on. We’re delighted to have the chance to make up for lost time and bring our much-loved FUSE community back together for a very special event.”
Tickets go on sale via Resident Advisor at 11am tomorrow. For more information, see Fuse's own website.
