The single will be out on Thylacine Sounds in March

Another very fine track premiere for you today, as iDJ presents the Egyptian Lover Remix of Danced Til Midnight's forthcoming single She Can't Love You.

Danced Til Midnight are a duo comprising Southend-based DJ/producer Andy Anderson and Wigan-based singer-songwriter Carmelle Cox, also of The Dunes. They released their debut EP Sun Bleach back in March 2015, following it up last summer with More Of Love, which came complete with a remix by the mighty Faze Action. Their tracks have been supported by the likes of Tensnake, Sam Divine, Graeme Park, Robert Owens and Miguel Campbell.

As with their previous two singles, She Can't Love You comes on their own Thylacine Sounds label. The vocal comes not from Ms Cox but from guest vocalist Iljeoma, a soul/R&B vocalist from London, and in its Original Mix form the track is a slice of summery soulful/funky house from the more commercial end of the spectrum, while Maxx E supplies a fiercer, more percussive house rub.

But it was the 80s electro flavas of the Egyptian Lover Mix that caught our ears the most. See what you think…
