The Back2Basics EP is the very first release on Eddie's own Integrity Records

Singaporean house producer Eddie Niguel, whose releases have graced the likes of Get Physical and Dig Deeper, kicks off his own Integrity Records imprint with this pleasingly varied four-tracker.

Do It is up first, a surging, euphoric house instrumental that puts an insistent, filtered Rhodes riff firmly front and centre. Visions, which follows, is a deeper, dubbier houser built for eyes-down, small hours dancefloor action; it's also a much more '2016-sounding' affair than Do It, which could have been released any time in the past 25 years or so. Back2Basics itself then brings us crisp beats and a trippy main synth riff, while finally the slightly techier The Way is kinda like Back2Basics if someone had spiked its drink... definitely one for those 5am, weirded-out moments.

A very strong debut for the label, let's hope there's more coming soon.
