The mix we bring you today reflects the sounds of the Treehouse stage, but there's more to Noisily than that...
Ironically, given the name, Noisily is one of the UK's lesser-sung festivals, but that certainly doesn't mean it's not any good! Located in an idyllic forest setting in Leicestershire, this small (4,000 capacity this year, and that's the biggest it's been) boutique festival is well worth checking whether you're into house, techno, psy-trance or bass music.
It's the latter we're mostly concerned with today. While house, techno and progressive sounds find a home on the main stage at Noisily (highlights this year include Dave Seaman and D-Nox & Beckers), and the Liquid stage attracts the cream of the world's underground psy-trance crop, this mix, which you can download for free, represents the sound of the Treehouse stage, where "bass music: glitch-hop, D&B, neuro and breakbeat" rule supreme.
If you like it dark n' gnarly, you're in for a treat here...
Like that? Then you'll be glad to know tickets for the four-day event are on sale now, starting at £130 inc camping.
