Weekend-long live stream later this month will raise money for children's charities
Dance music charity Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (or LNADJ for short) have organised another mass livestreaming event, to take place on the weekend of 20-22 November, with Carl Cox and Sasha headlining. Monies raised this time will go to support projects working with children in some of the world's poorest countries.
LNADJ's last big fundraising event was Set For Love, which took place back in May, when over 1,000 DJs in 80-plus countries worldwide played livestreamed sets and raised over £80,000 to help coronavirus efforts in Uganda, Tanzania, Nepal and Indonesia.
And now they're doing it all again, just in time for Xmas. Things kick off on Friday 20 November and run through till Sunday 22, with Kevin Saunderson, Josh Butler and Fatima Hajji also on the bill – as well as any other DJs who care to sign up via the Set For Love website, which you can do from today.
Jonny Lee, Founder of LNADJ said, “It’s a positive step for the dance music community to support World Children's Day through Set For Love. We’re raising funds to help provide children in developing countries with the fundamental basics of life - from sustainable food and water resources through to safety and education.”
