The festival's 'Latin Quarter' will play host to Pharoahe Monch, Derrick May, Derrick Carter, DJ Craze and many more
The
line-up has now been announced for the Barrio Loco area at this
year's Boomtown Fair. But while the Barrio Loco zone is billed as the
festival's 'Latin quarter', don't expect to do much salsa-ing…
techno, house and hip-hop are the order of the day (and night) here.
New
York rapper Pharoahe Monche and turntablist hero DJ Craze will
headline in the Poco Loco tent, aided and abetted by the likes of
Foreign Beggars, Swindle, Submotion Orchestra, DJ Format &
Abdominal and MC Devvo.
Over
on Barrio Loco's outdoor stage, meanwhile, Detroit and Chicago are in
the house with Derrick May, Octave One and Derrick Carter joined by
Nightmares On Wax, Skream, Jackmaster, Shadow Child and Will Clarke,
among others.
The
full line-up comprises Alfresco Disco, Billy Kenny, B.Traits, Dead
Players, Derrick Carter, Derrick May, Devvo, DJ Craze, DJ Format &
Abdominal, Dr Syntax & Pete Cannon, DRS (live), Flux DJs, Foreign
