Hawtin, Mills, Villalobos, Clarke, Liebing and Kraviz are among the highlights of a techno-heavy bill
The
line-up for this year's Awakenings festival in the Netherlands has
been announced. As in previous years, festival-goers can expect a
dizzying arena of big-name talent, with techno dominating the sonic
landscape.
There
are far too many names on the bill to list them all here, but some of
the highlights on the Saturday include Adriatique, Henrik Schwarz,
Joris Voorn, Sven Vath, Joseph Capriati, Maceo Plex, The Advent, Ben
Klock, Nina Kraviz, Adam Beyer, Matador, Ricardo Villalobos, Bicep,
Marcel Dettman, Dave Clarke, Chris Liebing, Gui Boratto, Extrawelt,
Stephan Bodzin and Kollektiv Turmstrasse. Of those listed, Schwarz,
Matador, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Boratto will all be playing live.
On
the Sunday, meanwhile, you can catch Pan-Pot, Ben
Klock & Marcel Dettman (together), Speedy J, Adam Beyer (again), Jeff Mills, Scuba &
Boddika, Damian Lazarus, Luciano, Henrik Schwarz & Ame, Marco
Carola, Maya Jane Coles, Paco Osuna, Dominik Eulberg & Gabriel
Ananda, Richie Hawin and The Martinez Brothers, among many others.
If
that's whet your appetite, then tickets are available now, starting
at €92 for a two-day pass. For full details, hit up the Awakenings
website.
Meanwhile,
Awakenings Festival UK takes place at the Victoria Warehouse in
Manchester this Saturday (6 Feb), with a line-up that includes Dave
Clarke, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Guy Gerber, Paco Osuna and Noir.
