The seventh installment in the long-running mix album series will be out this summer
This summer will see the release of the seventh mix album in Andy C's long-running Nightlife series for his own Ram Records, and for the first time, unknown and up-and-coming producers are being invited to submit tracks for consideration.
The competition is open now, but you'll have to be fairly sharp-ish: the deadline for entries is 20 April. Tracks must be submitted in .WAV format using WeTransfer, must contain no uncleared samples or potentially offensive material, and must not have been submitted to any other labels or shared via social media or other channels. Oh, and you have to be over 18. The full list of terms and conditions can be found here.
Come 20 April, Andy himself will pick the best submission, and the winner will be notified that their track has been selected no later than 30 June. Those who've submitted tracks that weren't successful will then be free to approach other labels with them.
2018 is something of a landmark year for Andy C and Ram: it's the label's 25th birthday, and the 15th anniversary of the Nightlife series. So if you fancy being involved in a release that's sure to be getting a lot of attention in D&B circles this year, head on over to nightlife7.net and get submitting!
