Label boss AlexMo dips into a harder sound on the latest from Morality Records
Alex Mo takes a no-holds barred attitude on the latest from his Morality Records label, a trance number with hard and tech elements.
Changing Of The Guards begins with a booming kick, a clap and an acid line, which are soon joined first by swung hi-hats and more acid lines, and then by a galloping bassline. Onwards it charges, at a great pace and with techy overtones to the main body of the track, which is led by a throbbing lead line that give its great energy. When the breakdown comes the acid lines really kick in, along with a piano section which doesn't last for long but gives the track a little uplift and ushers forth more acidic madness. This track is all about energy and is driving, uplifting and sounds different to the rest of the pack which will no doubt give it an edge over the run-of-the-mill trancers that are being released by the bucket load at present.
In a very short time Alex Mo has carved himself a niche in the trance scene, and with tunes of this quality being unfurled on a regular basis I suspect his stature will only continue to grow. I for one can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us in the future!
