Also on the bill are Black Coffee, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Roni Size, Denis Sulta and many more
The organisers of EXIT Festival in Serbia have announced two major additions to their 2020 line-up, with Solomun scheduled to play a four-hour closing set while tech-house don Maceo Plex will be playing two sets – one on his own and one B2B with Tale Of Us.
EXIT was originally due to take place on 4-7 July, but due to the coronavirus pandemic was postponed until 13-16 August – apparently, it was postponed rather than cancelled at the specific request of Serbia's prime minister Ana Brabnic. The festival will still be held in its usual location – the 18th Century Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad – but with its usual 55,000 capacity reduced by 50 per cent, and with "at least 20" stages compared to the usual 40.
Some of the international acts that were scheduled for the original event will still appear, while others that can't make it have been replaced on the bill by local artists. Artists confirmed for 13-16 August include Robin Schulz, Paul Kalkbrenner, Boris Brejcha, ARTBAT, Nina Kraviz, Tale of Us, Black Coffee, Roni Size B2B LTJ Bukem, Denis Sulta B2B DJ Tennis, Dax J B2B Kobosil, Marcel Dettmann, Laibach, Marko Nastic, Monosaccharide and Ilija Djokovic. More names are expected to be announced between now and mid-August.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now, starting at £89 (for festival admission only). For full details, see EXIT's own website.
