The single's out on Traxsource Promo tomorrow (22 Dec), with a full release on 5 January
Today, iDJ is delighted to bring you the first chance to hear the latest offering from Kenny Dope's long-running Dopewax label. Satisfy by Jay Potter & DJ Queen B is available via Traxsource Promo tomorrow (Friday 22 December), with a full release to follow in the New Year.
As you'll hear below, Satisfy is a slice of rough, raw, dancefloor-struttin' house music that's more than a little reminiscent of the early 90s output of labels like Strictly Rhythm and Nervous. It might surprise you to learn, then, that Jay Potter & DJ Queen B - whose previous releases have appeared on labels such as Hot Stuff, Maison Records and Good For You - hail not from the mean streets of Brooklyn or The Bronx, but instead from the great northwest metropolis of Manchester, England.
The single consists of Extended, Instrumental, Dub and Radio Edit versions of Satisfy, and you can check out the Extended Mix right here...
