The track comes from the 'Lucid Dream' EP, which is out tomorrow

Today's exclusive track premiere is a slice of forward-thinking, hard-to-pigeonhole bass music from Madam Bliss. The track is one of four that make up her Lucid Dream EP for We Got This Music, which is out tomorrow (1 May).

Madam Bliss (real name Kirsten Wilson) hails originally from the east coast of the USA but is now based in California, where she has worked extensively with Death Row's Tommy D, and "grimy hard-hitting basslines with a soulful punch" is how her sound is described on the hype sheet for this release, which is her first full EP for We Got This Music. Her work has also appeared on Street Ritual, Shadowtrix, BKoast and other labels.

Elsewhere on the EP, Let's Go will appeal to trap/EDM fans but isn't too in-your-face with it (and sports a cheeky Jodeci bite, among other vocal samples), In My Dream comes on like a kind of ambient/jungle/sci-fi fusion. and West Coast Style blends dubstep and hip-hop influences. But it was Fire In The Dancehall that pricked up our ears the most, with its tripped-out echoes of vintage rave and jungle.
