Monday 30 September will see Sven Väth and co close down Amnesia in true Cocoon style

Sven Väth will bring Cocoon's 20th season at Amnesia to a climactic finale with Peggy Gou, Adam Beyer, Ilario Alicante and Anna on 30 September. The Amnesia closing party concludes one of the German institution's busiest ever month on the island.

Comprising three of the island's most renowned venues, 10 top-drawer names going right back to the very genus of electronic music, and four massive parties, Cocoon20's final month this Ibiza season kicks off with an all-night session tonight (8 Sept) at Ibiza Underground with just the Cocoon boss himself as he goes deep into marathon mode.

This will be followed on Friday 13 September with a truly unique event at Ushuaia where none other than Kraftwerk will join Väth and Seth Troxler. It will be the German pioneers' Ibiza debut. "I was listening to Kraftwerk for the first time in 1981," explains Sven of this one-of-a-kind booking. "It was the album Computer World that became a massive inspiration for me in sound and dancing the robot of course. I have followed their work ever since. If you ask anyone from Berlin-Detroit-London-Tokyo-New York etc, Kraftwerk will always been named as the first for the electronic music movement!"

Cocoon's own movement heads to Amnesia for its final two events this season. Friday 16 September sees Vath taking over the Terrace while Carl Craig, Nastia, Cassy and Cesar Vincente rock the main room. And then finally on 30 September, Peggy Gou joins Väth on the Terrace while Adam Beyer, Ilario Alicante and Anna see Amnesia's main room off in style.
