On the bill at the all-day event are Carl Craig, Adam Beyer, Dixon, Mr G, Nina Kraviz and many more
This
summer will see the debut of a new dance music festival in London,
Junction 2. The all-day event takes place from 12 noon till 10.30pm
on 4 June at a yet-to-be-revealed location - all we know is
that it's in Zone 4.
Junction
2 is a joint venture between Adam Beyer's Drumcode, The Hydra and
Closer. Musically, the bill leans heavily towards techno and
tech-house, with the full list of artists announced so far as
follows: Adam Beyer, Alan
Fitzpatrick, Âme (DJ set), Carl Craig presents Modular Pursuits
(live), Dense & Pika, Dixon, Dolan Bergin, Ida Engberg, Mano Le
Tough, Marcel Dettmann, Move D, Mr G (live), Nina Kraviz, Pan-Pot and
Scuba.
All
that, and tickets are just £35... for now, anyway. Theyll be rising
to £49.50 soon, so if you want to go along, we'd suggest moving fast...
Announcing
the line-up today, Adam Beyer said: "I am super excited with the
line-up and how it's come together. The Drumcode stage is really
representative of where we are now musically, and Carl Craig’s live
show will be a really special moment. The Hydra and Closer stages
compliment each other really well and offer a little contrast across
the event. In my opinion, it’s about as on-point as you can get for
a techno-based line-up in 2016."
