Full details to follow when the new service launches on 4 July
Tired of buying expensive sample packs and finding you only end up using a handful of the sounds? Then new subscription-based sample service Noiiz could be just what you're looking for.
Noiiz is a cloud-based service that gives you access to tens of thousands of sounds that you can either download from the website, or access directly from your DAW via the accompanying Noiiz plug-in. Subscription to the service costs $99 per year, with full details set to be announced on 4 July.
What we can tell you in the meantime is that Noiiz is a new company spun out of UK sample library developer Samplephonics, and that the entire Samplephonics sound catalogue will be available via Noiiz, as well as sounds from other developers. Sylenth and FM8 presets are available as well as WAV samples, and any sounds you download will be yours to keep, even if you decide to cancel your subscription. Oh, and the plug-in is available for Windows and Mac, and is compatible with Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Cubase and Studio One.
To mark the arrival of Noiz, they're hosting a competition. To enter you'll need to pre-register with Noiiz, in return for which you get an early bird discount plus your name entered in a prize draw, with the lucky winner getting a lifetime Noiiz subscription plus a stack of Native Instruments, Korg, Roli, Adam and Ableton hardware and software, and runners-up getting lifetime subscriptions and a copy of Ableton Live 9 Suite.
