'White Hot' trails album number five from the prolific funk, soul and breaks producer, which is out next month
With
four albums under his belt, the work of George Fotiadis AKA Basement
Freaks should be familiar to all lovers of funk and breaks by now.
He's got a new album called Time Machine coming next month,
and today iDJ is delighted to bring you the world premiere of trailer
single White Hot.
White
Hot sees George joining forces with Kylie Audist, the Kiwi vocalist
known for her work with like-minded Tru Thoughts outfit The Bamboos.
She's also appeared previously on Jalapeno Records, working with Aldo
Vanucci on his two Love Is Loops EP.
Described
on the hype sheet as "funkier than James Brown's armpit", we reckon
White Hot will appeal particularly to fans of acts like Kraak
& Smaak, Lack Of Afro and Fat Freddy's Drop, but you can see what
you think for yourselves below.
