Budapest's 'metro' festival's sophomore year sees capacity more than doubled
Last year saw the arrival on the festival scene of Budafest, a multi-venue 'metro' festival right in the heart of the Hungarian capital. And today it's been confirmed that Budafest will be returning for a second event on 26-28 August, with overall capacity now expanded from last year's 1,850 to 5,000.
Naturally, with that many more tickets to sell, they've booked a line-up to match! So this year, the city's various bars, clubs, concert halls and hotels will play host to the heavy-hitting likes of Skream, Camelphat, Richy Ahmed, Artwork, B.Traits and Solardo by night, while boat parties and organised pub crawls will keep the bleary-eyed entertained by day.
Tickets are available now, starting at £99 for a three-day pass to all club events, £168 for the same pass plus hostel accommodation, or £188 if you'd prefer to stay in, y'know, an actual hotel. Do note that passes for the pub crawls, boat parties or the infamous Spa Party [pictured] cost £15-£35 extra.
For more information, see the festival's own website.
