This year's ADE takes place on 18-22 October

The first live acts have been announced for this year's Amsterdam Dance Event, which is being held on 18-22 October.

There will, of course, be many more names to come, but the first artists confirmed for ADE 2017 are: Fatima Yamah, Palmbomen II, Bruxas (all of whom will play Parasido on 18 October), Anna Of The North, Vessels (Sugarfactory, 18 October), Hercules & Love Affair, Cubicolor, Marian Hill, Phlake and Nambyar (Melkweg and Sugarfactory, 19 October).

This will be Amsterdam Dance Event's 22nd consecutive year, and this year's conference-cum-festival is expected to attract the greatest numbers yet. 2017 will also see a change of venue: the Felix Meritis conference centre, ADE's home for 16 years, is undergoing refurbishment and so this year's event will centre around the DeLaMar Theatre, which is right next door to Melkweg.

We'll bring you more details of the ADE line-up as and when they're announced.
